Day 1: EUROPE – URGENCH
Departure the previous day from Europe with TK via Istanbul and arrival in the morning in Urgench. Transfer to the hotel in Khiva and breakfast. Time to rest. A UNESCO city awaits with an intensive tour. You’ll see, among others, the Kunya Ark Citadel, the Pahlavan Mahmud Mausoleum, the Amin Khan Madrasa, the unfinished minaret, the Juma Friday Mosque, the harem courtyard, the Islom Khodja Minaret, and Madrasa.

Day 2: KHIVA – BUKHARA
Free time until noon. Then the caravan heads to Bukhara. Like Mongolian riders of old, you’ll pass oases in the Kizilkum Desert, crossing Central Asia’s largest river. En route, you’ll have the opportunity for a short individual desert hike and to eat fish at a rest stop. Arrive in the oasis city of Bukhara by late afternoon.

Day 3: BUKHARA
Today is again dedicated entirely to city sightseeing. You’ll visit the Ark Citadel, the Bolo Hauz Mosque, the Ismail Samani Mausoleum, and the unusually beautiful Chor Minor gatehouse. The Poi-Kalon Ensemble impresses with the Kalon Minaret, Mir Arab Madrasa, and Kalon Mosque. Other highlights on your tour include the Magoki-Attori Mosque, the opposing Ulugbek and Abdulaziz Khan Madrasas, and three historical domed bazaars. At the Labi Hauz Complex, the central water basin provides refreshment, with additional monuments concentrated here, such as Nodir Devon Begi and Kukeldash Madrasas.

Day 4: BUKHARA – SAMARKAND
Around noon, you’ll be driven from Bukhara to your next destination, Samarkand. En route, stop at the Emir’s summer palace, the Rabati Malik caravanserai (12th century) in the village, and the minaret in Vobkent (12th century). Alternatively, a train journey is planned. Upon arrival, free time to stroll through the old town.

Day 5: SAMARKAND
Another UNESCO World Heritage site awaits your exploration. The tour of Samarkand, one of the world’s oldest cities, begins at the famous Registan Square, surrounded by the stunning Ulugbek, Shir Dor, and Tilla-Kori Madrasas. You’ll also visit the Gur Emir Mausoleum, the Shah-i-Zinda necropolis, and the Ulugbek Observatory. Another highlight follows in the form of the breathtaking Bibi-Khanum Mosque and the Registan under night lighting.

Day 6: SAMARKAND – PENJIKENT
Drive to the Uzbek-Tajik border. After crossing the border, continue to Penjikent. Visit the Rudaki Museum, dedicated to an outstanding poet born here. Then explore ancient Penjikent, whose ruins of an old Sogdian city remain preserved to this day. Founded in the 5th century and abandoned by the Arabs in the 8th century, the excavated ruins reveal the foundations of residential houses, a citadel with several Zoroastrian fire temples, and a city bazaar.

Day 7: PENJIKENT – HAFKOL – PENJIKENT
Drive to the Seven Lakes (80 km) via the settlement of Sarasm, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The seven Marguzor Lakes lie in the west of the Fan Mountains. Each lake has its own color – from soothing turquoise to fascinating violet. At the last lake, Khoazorchashma, enjoy a picnic. Return to Penjikent (80 km).

Day 8: PENJIKENT – KHOJAND
Drive over the picturesque Pamir Mountains to Khojand. City tour: historical-ethnographic museum, Timur-Malik Citadel, archaeological museum, Shaikh Muslihiddin Mosque and Madrasa, Payshanba Bazaar.
Overnight stay in Khojand.

Day 9: KHOJAND – TASHKENT
Drive across the Tajik-Uzbek border to Tashkent. Free time.

Day 10: TASHKENT
After breakfast, the city tour of Tashkent begins at 10:00 AM. You’ll visit the old town with the Khast Imam Complex and Quran Museum, the Chorsu Bazaar, A. Timur Park, Independence Square with the Romanov Palace, the metro, the white Minor Mosque, the TV Tower (exterior), and the Plov Center.

Day 11: HOMEWARD JOURNEY
Transfer to the airport and flight via Istanbul to Europe.
