Tashkent is the capital of Uzbekistan, a modern metropolis, and without exaggeration, the center of the country’s scientific, cultural, and educational life. The history of Tashkent spans over 2000 years, during which it has evolved from a small settlement into one of the largest and most beautiful cities in Central Asia.
— Hast-Imam Memorial Complex – includes the mausoleum of Abu Bakr Kaffal Shashi (16th century), Barak Khan Madrasah (16th century), Mui Muborak Madrasah (16th century), Namazgoh Mosque (19th century), and Tilla Sheikh Mosque (19th–20th centuries). Samarkand is one of the famous pearls of Central Asia and one of the main cities of the Great Silk Road. But it is not only the beauty of ancient architecture that attracts travelers here; the entire history of the city is filled with majestic and tragic events. Samarkand witnessed conquest and plunder during the times of Alexander the Great and Genghis Khan, rose from the ashes, became the capital of a world empire under Timur, and achieved fame as one of the largest centers of science and culture in the Middle Ages under the great Ulugh Beg.

We recommend taking an independent walk around Lyabi-Hauz Square. Also, visit the trading domes of the Bukhara bazaar, preserved since the Great Silk Road era, where you can purchase gifts and souvenirs made by local craftsmen using ancient techniques passed down through generations.


Day 5: Bukhara, Friday

A significant part of human history is connected with this city of tales, legends, and poetry. The age of Bukhara exceeds 2500 years, and today you will get to know one of the mysterious oases of the East and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of an oriental fairy tale.

Day 6: Bukhara – Khiva – 450 km, (7–8 hours transfer), Saturday

09:00 – 17:00 Today, you will travel to Khiva. The road passes through the Kyzylkum Desert and the Amu Darya River, the largest in Central Asia. The Kyzylkum Desert, like an oasis of ancient Khorezm, lies among sand dunes, preserving the ruins of once-great cities. “Kyzylkum” means “red sands” in Turkic. Indeed, the sands here have a reddish hue, beautifully reflected in the waters of the great Amu Darya River.

Day 7: Khiva – Urgench – (Tashkent) – 30 km, Sunday

Today’s Khiva is an open-air museum, rightfully claiming the title of the “eighth wonder of the world.” This is justified, as no other tourist city has preserved its treasures in such pristine condition. The inner fortress of Khiva – Itchan-Kala – contains all the most interesting attractions in this tourist Mecca, covering about 30 hectares.
